| ABC-I.T. Consultancy Announcement |
 |
| Co-owners Matt Cottle and Barney Drake of
the y3s Group have sold their majority stake holding in ABC
IT Consultancy Ltd, the networking and hardware support company
they formed in 2005 with managing director Jay Voisin-Jones,
which has since attained Microsoft Certified Partner status. |
The company was initially set up to
look after the IT requirements of y3s group companies, but soon
branched out into the open market following a unique client
offering in the shape of the Heartbeat server monitoring system,
which allows ABC to monitor, assess and repair its clients systems
before a problem is ever detected by the client.
It is understood that Jones and a new management team under
the guise of CBA TI Ltd., approached Drake and Cottle several
weeks ago with an MBO proposition, and the deal completed yesterday
for an undisclosed figure. The y3s Group will remain as primary
clients.
Commenting on the completion, Matt Cottle commercial director
of the y3s group said, “This deal marks a new era for
ABC IT. The company has just reported a 20% net profit margin
for its second year of trading, and the new management team
bring a new level of experience to the table, that, as purely
investors, we can’t. We have no doubt that this will allow
the company to prosper in the years ahead. Barney Drake and
I are very proud to have been part of that growth. The y3s group
will continue to be clients as we would not wish to have our
systems maintained by anyone other than the highly talented
team at ABC.”
Managing director Jay Jones say “The investment and support
provided by Barney Drake and Matt Cottle since inception has
provided ABC with a sound business proposition to new investors.
The new team will take the reins with both hands and continue
to expand the client base with new offerings and provide an
excellent service to its current customers”. |
